Workspace settings

Workspace-wide preferences — report branding, templates, and data import/export. Integrations has its own section.

Workspace settings (Settings → Workspace) hold preferences that apply to the whole portfolio rather than one product. The page is organized as a sidebar with three sections — each small, each documented:

  • Branding — white-label the investor output: the PDF cover page and footer carry your company name, tagline, and contact instead of the platform defaults, and the PPTX deck uses your accent color. Blank fields keep the platform defaults. Used by every Report and Portal export.
  • Templates — the reusable product structures ("Save as template" lives on a product's Settings → Template). Rename or delete here; templates carry structure and rules, never live data — see Templates.

Export, import/restore, and workspace deletion live on their own page: Data ownership (Settings → Data ownership) — the live inventory of what SaaSFO holds, the full-coverage JSON backup, and the typed-confirmation delete.

Integrations is its own settings section (Settings → Integrations, with its own sidebar) — the service catalog, per-product selection, and the Stripe pull connection. Full guide: Integrations.

Report branding details

Everything lives at the workspace level because one founder brand covers every product's investor materials:

Best practices

  • Set branding before your first investor send — exports pick it up automatically; nothing to re-do per report.
  • Curate the integrations catalog sparingly — leave services enabled unless they're truly off the table; per-product narrowing happens on the product.
  • Export before big migrations or experiments — the JSON backup is the portable copy of your entire portfolio.
