Reviews
The portfolio-review ritual — scheduled, deterministic, and ending in a recorded verdict.
Reviews is the ritual that keeps the portfolio honest: a scheduled portfolio review that turns "I should look at this sometime" into a calendar fact, and ends in a recorded decision.
How it works
- Every product carries a next review date (set in the header's Next-review picker, defaulted from the product's cadence). Overdue dates turn red in the header and feed the dashboard's Needs Attention list and the weekly rhythm.
- Open Reviews and run the review: the page assembles each product's evidence — stage, gate status, economics, risks, experiments — the same deterministic engine the reports read, so a review is never a memory contest.
- End with a verdict: advance, hold, build, validate more, park, kill, or sell. The verdict is recorded in the decision log (with stage transitions enforced by gates), the product's decision badge updates with its age, and the next review date is scheduled.
Why a ritual and not a vibe
The honest kill in a healthy portfolio is chosen on a schedule, not in a moment of frustration — and a product worth keeping is re-justified at its review, not grandfathered in. The review page's recommendation engine is deterministic: same evidence, same advice; you can argue with it, but not ignore it silently.
