14-day free trial, Pro, Team, and the AI Credit Pack — what each includes and how billing works.
SaaS Founder OS starts with a 14-day free trial of Pro — no credit card required. Billing is handled securely by Clerk Billing (Stripe-powered); you can manage or cancel your subscription from the billing portal at any time.
Staging note
During staging, checkout is not yet live — an admin can comp a plan for you from the platform admin panel. Real checkout opens with the production launch.

The 14-day trial
Every new workspace starts with full Pro for 14 days — no credit card, no feature limits, all 100 AI credits. The fastest path to value in week one: add a product, run a Product research draft (10 credits), and copy the Product identity section into your Product Summary.
When the trial ends, your workspace becomes read-only. Nothing is deleted, nothing is hidden:
- Every product, scorecard, playbook answer, experiment, and report stays exactly where you left it — you can view and export everything.
- Editing, adding products, and the AI assistant pause until you reactivate.
- Reactivate in one click from the banner in your workspace (or the pricing page) and everything picks up where it left off.
Keeping your data: 90 days, with reminders
Your archived workspace is kept for 90 days. We email you at 30, 60, and 85 days ("pick up where you left off" — with the last one a clear warning before deletion). If a workspace is still archived after 90 days, it's permanently deleted. If you reactivate at any point in those 90 days, your workspace returns to full working state instantly.
AI Credit Pack — refill your credits
Running more research drafts and assistant chats than your plan includes? The Credit Pack adds +100 credits per month for $9/mo on top of Pro (200 total) or Team (400 total). Subscribe from the pricing page card or your billing portal; cancel anytime.
How pack credits work:
- They're yours until you spend them — they roll over month to month.
- They never expire before your account does. If your trial ends or you cancel, unused pack credits stay frozen with your workspace and are restored the moment you reactivate (within the 90-day window).
- Cancelling a subscription takes effect at the end of the billing period; pack credits keep the same "safe until your data is purged" promise.
Questions
What happens when I hit the product limit? You won't — Pro and Team are unlimited, and the trial includes the full Pro limits.
Do downgrades or cancellations delete my data? No. They take effect at the end of the billing period, and your workspace simply becomes read-only — the same archive described above. Your data is kept for 90 days with reminders before any deletion.
Do my credits expire? Your monthly plan credits refresh on the 1st of each month (unused plan credits don't roll over). Credit Pack credits never expire while your account exists — see above.
