Portal Manager

The staged, read-only portals you share with investors and clients — plus the contacts they go to.

The Portal Manager (sidebar → Portal Manager) is where shared access lives: staged read-only views of your product evidence, plus the contacts they can be sent to. It replaces a folder of attachments with a link that always shows current data.

Two tabs, one place

  • Portals — every portal you've created, with its status, kind (investor / client), and engagement counters. Creating one costs credits (shown before you confirm); a failed creation auto-refunds.
  • Contacts — the stakeholder directory (name, company, email). Contacts are people, not links: a portal is addressed to a contact when you send it, and a client portal can derive its whole scope from that person.

What a portal shows

Sections are curated per portal — overview, live metrics, validation, experiments, decisions, packages, engagement. Everything renders from recorded evidence: absent data shows an honest dash, never invented progress. Live metrics are model-aware — a recurring product shows MRR; a one-time seller shows lifetime/trailing sales and is never annualized into an ARR figure.

  • The Link & access panel shows the portal's shareable URL (the full URL — copy and send it), lets you rotate the secret (old links die), and optionally sets a PIN for an access gate.
  • Portals pause and resume; revoked portals stop rendering entirely.
  • Engagement records what the recipient did — views and downloads, grouped per portal — so follow-ups are factual, not guessed.

SAFE submissions

Investor portals carry a SAFE page for raise bookkeeping: standalone submission records (draft terms → explicit confirm → webhook submit → recorded outcome, 1,000 credits per submit). Submissions require the product's evidence gate to be open — you raise on proof, not on hope — and they are NEVER part of the read-only portal the investor browses.

Where delivery is going

Send/assign currently appear only for admins while the rebuilt delivery experience is in the works: assign/send returning INSIDE the Portal Manager, with the package + document viewer in the same place. The machinery stays warm; nothing is half-shipped.
